Sophia Louise is a handmade clothing and accessories label based in Northern California. Every piece is designed and made by hand by Sophia Louise, using reclaimed and vintage materials. No two garments are the same—each one is created with care, intention, and respect for the materials it comes from.

Taught to sew and knit by her grandmothers, Sophia’s work is rooted in generational knowledge and traditional craft. These early lessons continue to shape her approach to design, emphasizing slow processes, durability, and individuality over mass production.

In addition to creating one-of-a-kind garments, Sophia is passionate about teaching and sharing her skills with others. Through classes and workshops, she teaches sewing and textile techniques, encouraging students to build confidence, work with their hands, and develop a deeper relationship with clothing. Teaching is an extension of her practice—an act of preservation, empowerment, and community-building.
